Great way to help your child prepare for preschool. My daughter is 3 and is having no trouble at all doing this workbook!! It's almost too simple for her but she still really enjoys it! This workbook has a lot of mazes,letter & number practicing...which is exactly what I was looking for. For $2 this was a no-brainer to buy.
Many Great Pictures for your child to work on to help boost Confidence in what to expect for School
We bought this book a few months ago at the beginning of the school year. At first most of it was lost on our 4 yr old; I would try to go through it with him but he would lose interest pretty quickly. He has been going to a home preschool group for the past few months as well and has finally taken interest in this book. Each day for the past week he has requested to go through it and has traced all the letters on his own. Now he is asking how to do some of the activities and then takes off to do them on their own. I have been quite pleased with his interest and glad we had the book for him.The only thing I would change are some of the pages where the activity is "what came before/after." A few of them are not clear and really confused him. Heck, I have a Bachelor's degree and I had to take a minute to figure one of them out! :)
I got this for my 3.5 year old to practice some skills as she is not enrolled in preschool this year. I love some of the concepts that it hits (patterns, spatial reasoning, matching, etc). The pages are bright and colorful, which appeals to my daughter and she loves working in the book! I do have to read directions and guide her through, its something they can easily "sit down and do." That is totally fine, but figured it was worth noting. I'm giving 4/5 because I wish it didn't have SO many pages that were alphabet letters and tracing. It is a bit redundant and takes at least 1/4-1/3 of the book. I would have gotten an ABC book if I wanted that much letter practice!
My son does not like reading or writing very much. He gets very discouraged easily. I have to convince him to practice daily. I bought this book hoping he might find it a bit funner and it worked. He does not get bored as easy as he did before. This has little activities in it to keep him occupied and keep his interest. It has every letter and is very educational for a kid going into kindergarten. He especially likes it when i put a sticker on his page when he's done and tell him how great he did in his "study book". IT REALLY GIVES HIM THE CONFIDINCE HE NEEDS TO KEEP PRACTICING. Not too simple and not too difficult. Not only does this have tracing letters but it also has little activities to get his big brain working such as simple things like coloring things that start with a certain letter. Do you finally gotten around to completing this entire book with my almost 3-year-old. She loves it, has engaging and colorful pages. Especially enjoyed the opportunities to trace and tell stories on each page. You can use your imagination to expand all the lessons provided and it makes for an excellent games outside of the workbook as well. Overall great purchase for the price.

Nice book. Kids love it. There are quite a few books similar to these activity books. So nothing against anyone. You wouldnt really go wrong buying this one or anything else that encourages kids to read and write and help fine tune their fine-motor skills.
I bought this workbook for my 4 & 5 year old grandchildren who visit with me during the summer. This workbook will keep their little minds in focus over the summer. You'll like this one because it's fun and educational for them.
