Who Is Malala Yousafzai?   When Malala Yousafzai (mah-LAH-lah yoo-sahf-ZIGH) was a little girl in Mingora, Pakistan, she decided to be a doctor when she grew up. She knew she would have to go to school for many years and study very hard. But Malala didn’t mind at all. She loved everything about school. She loved reading. She loved history and geography and science. She loved studying religion. She enjoyed writing and reading stories aloud to her classmates.   When her teacher talked about something new, she couldn’t wait to learn more. Tests were difficult, but they were fun, too, especially when she had studied hard and knew the answers.   Then, when Malala was ten years old, her life changed. War came to Mingora, the city where she lived. A group of violent fighters called the Taliban had taken over her beloved Swat Valley.   They were saying that girls would soon be stopped from going to school. Not boys. Just girls.   The Taliban started destroying girls’ schools. The Pakistan Army arrived to stop them. Mingora became a war zone. It was very dangerous. People were afraid to go out.   Malala wondered how she could ever become a doctor if she wasn’t allowed to learn. She wished there was something she could do to help keep her school open. Many were closed, and few students dared to go to the ones that were open. But Malala went to school every day.   Malala spoke out. She told local newspapers that she was afraid the Taliban would close her school. She talked about how frightening her life had become. She said that more than anything, she wanted to go to school.   Malala was becoming famous. People were talking about her. Some Taliban fighters learned her name and decided to take revenge. On October 9, 2012, two of them stopped her school bus. One walked around to the back and looked inside. Then he shot Malala.   Malala Yousafzai was lucky to survive. She was f lown to a hospital where she recovered.   Did she stop speaking out?   No.   When she was better, she went on working for the right of all children to be educated. But she never stopped learning and studying and going to school.   On July 12, 2013, she addressed hundreds of young people at the United Nations Youth Assembly in New York City. “So here I stand, one girl among many,” she said. “I speak—not for myself, but for all girls and boys. I raise up my voice—not so that I can shout, but so that those without a voice can be heard.”   Malala Yousafzai wanted one thing—an education. She spoke up, and people listened. Things began to change, little by little, until the whole world was listening.

This is an inspiring story about a brave young woman. Parents should know there is discussion of her being attacked and shot (of course), so be aware for younger or more sensitive readers. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the writing style (and/or editing) doesn't flow well. The story starts when Malala is shot, then jumps back in time, jumps a bit forward, then a bit back... without clear indications of timeline until the end. It made the read frustrating. That said, my 11 year old said she noticed that a little in the beginning, but it didn't bother her for the rest of the book, and overall she really liked it.The overall tone of the book is uplifting and inspiring with a strong female at the center.

I bought this book for a biography project with a specific student in mind, anticipating that she would be intrigued by Malala. She was, and she enjoyed the book very much. The only thing that kept me from giving this book (and the others I bought in this series) 5 stars was the cover art. I teach intellectually talented third graders who sometimes hone in on details others would miss. Most of them were so distracted by the disproportionate heads that they hesitated to select the books at first. Once they got past the covers, they found the books very enjoyable.

I was so happy to find this book for my young readers. I have read about Malala and wanted to find something appropriate for my kinder and 2nd grader to learn about her. This is perfect! The pictures keep them interested without actually being a "picture book."

My 3rd grade daughter chose this for her book report and presentation for "non-fiction/famous woman" theme. She loved the book. Malala's story was very accessible through this book and it dealt with serious issues in a completely appropriate way for their target age group. I'm glad they added her to this fantastic series.

I think this is a pretty well-written book for children at a 2nd/3rd grade reading level. I bought the paperback to donate it to my son's school library, but found the publishing quality to be poor. The illustrations are OK if not particularly creative, but the black and white, low quality paper makes it look like it's a photocopy. It is important for children's books to be colorful and attractive to hold their interest. That shouldn't be news to anyone.

Great book. All of The Who is, where is, etc. books are wonderful. There's not as many books about women and my son really enjoyed learning about Malala.

My husband told me about these books to buy for the kids during vacation time and they loved this one so much. Malala's story is amazing.

Great read. My 7 yr old appreciated the words to picture ratio.

This was purchased for a class, but my boyfriend read me excerpts and said he loved it! He likened him to Kafka!

Had to read for a class. Odd story, even stranger plot. Lots of ambiguity if thats your thing. Best Part? It is short.

Well first of all... I haven't read this novel yet, but it is an assigned novel for my course so I have to, which is unfortunate because the book I received is both upside down and written from the wrong side, meaning the first page is where the last page is supposed to be. I have no idea how readers go about managing this problem without returning the book, which i don't have time to do since it is an assigned reading.Have no idea how it slipped through quality control.I looked forward to reading this book, not so much anymore...

"The Committee", by Sun Allah Ibrahim joins the work of writers including Franz Kafka, Albert Camus, and Fyodor Dostoevsky. The comparison that is most easily drawn is to Kafka's, "The Trial". While this may be the easiest parallel to draw it suggests this is just a variation on a theme and that would be a disservice to this book and the author. The unnamed narrator first petitions a committee. This group is made of members we are told virtually nothing about. Our narrator only makes vague references to what a positive decision from this committee would mean to him. Whatever his goal, it must be of great value for during his first audience he is not only queried on his knowledge, his is degraded, pointlessly degraded. The similarities to other writings remain in regard to arbitrary and absolute authority; together with the perversions of thought and justice they produce. Unlike, "The Trial", there is no evidence he stands accused of anything on his initial hearing. The committee after a long delay sets for him yet another task, and when they learn of how he proceeds despite the blockades put before him, the group visits him, with a single member remaining. This shadow is the same individual who so crudely humiliated him before. The treatment again begins with the total invasion of everything that is held private for the individual, with the result that our narrator commits a crime, comes once again before the committee, and receives a surreal sentence.Throughout this fairly brief work the narrator in his appearances before the group, and in his private thoughts often expounds on his theories with seemingly bizarre examples. What becomes bizarre is that in their way his arguments make sense, and this is after Coca-Cola, peanut farming, cigarettes, anti-depressants, and presidential elections explain his thoughts. The sentence our anti-hero receives is described by the publisher as a new realm of satiric surrealism. Whether satiric or satanic, the ending is not one you will forget, and you may likely be drawn to read the work of other writers who wanted their subjects to stand firmly in existential space.

First off, a caveat: The editorial reviews (above) for this fine, provocative novel do the disservice of revealing its entire story like Cliff Notes. Best to avoid reading them if you prefer the pleasure of discovering a novel's storyline as it's revealed by the author. In its 166 pages, this short novel has a lot on its mind. Readers eager to defend the benefits of unchecked globalization will no doubt take offense at the critique of its impact on lesser developed countries, including Egypt and the rest of the Arab world as represented here by Sun`Allah Ibrahim. Meanwhile, its vision of the individual overwhelmed by social and political forces beyond his understanding applies anywhere dissent is suppressed and might makes right, which can happen even in self-proclaimed "free" societies. There is plenty of Kafka and some Orwell in these pages, and the narrator's sardonic point of view owes much surely to the author's experience as a political prisoner during the tumultuous years of revolution in his home country. One does not suffer physically and psychologically for one's ideals and look respectfully at those whose chief objectives have been to amass power and wealth at the expense of others. Readers of any political persuasion should find the ironies at the center of this book a thought-provoking challenge to whatever they believe about what it means to be an individual in a binary world where people increasingly show up as survey results, digits on spreadsheets, and numbers in headlines.

Written from 1979-81, this short novel invites immediate comparison to Kafka's "The Trial". In it, an unnamed man is summoned to appear before a mysterious and apparently powerful committee who will apparently judge him in some way-although what this actually means is left unexplained. The first theme of the tale emerges when the committee asks him, "By which momentous event among the wars, revolutions, or inventions will our century be remembered in the future?" This results in a lecture on globalism (remember this was written over 20 years ago) via a capsule history of Coca-Cola and its proliferation across the world in the years after WWII. The second theme comes forth when the committee directs him to write "a study on the greatest contemporary Arab luminary." This drives him to research a powerful and mysterious man known simply as "the Doctor," a man with fingers in every conceivable pie. Given the timing of the writing, one could well read "the Doctor" as representing Sadat's "open-door" economic policies and the entire book as a satirical attack on those policies and the figures behind them. Despite the censorious obstacles in his path, the narrator manages to start uncovering nuggets of truth about "the Doctor." Unsurprisingly, this angers the committee and he is commanded to pick another subject which leads to a surreal (and satirical) climax.

There are two types of people who will want to read this book: those who like adventure and those who want to see if EMS is for them. Peter Canning is a real-life paramedic in Hartford,Connecticut, who once worked as a speech writer for former Governor Lowell Weicker. Both of Canning's books are full to bursting with real-life adventure. EMS crews in Hartford have little down time as they go from heart attack patient to auto wreck to infant not breathing to drug overdose. Canning takes his readers along through adventure after adventure at a dizzying pace.At the same time, Canning shows some of the toll that EMS work takes on the people who do it. In his first book, Canning makes the job switch to EMS. His progression is the usual one from someone who is thrilled with the excitement of the work to someone who wants to earn the respect of his peers to someone who realizes that it's the patient that counts. In _Rescue 471_ Canning has become a well experienced paramedic. But there are still struggles. Canning works his way through the times when EMS made the transition from a health need to a business dealing in medicine. His smaller EMS company is bought out by a larger one. There are new regulations promulgated by unknown faces. There's the worry about pay and jobs though one of Canning's friends reminds him that EMS companies still need "meat on the seat." Canning also works his way through the worker burnout caused by the long hours of work and dealing with stressful situations. One night Canning just doesn't care anymore. As he drives home, he speeds through the red traffic signals and arrives at his home breathless. I have to commend him for admitting how close he came to losing it.EMS work in my part of the country is different yet so much alike. The hours are long. A shift is 24 hours on and 48 hours off. The pay is lousy. The only way that the guys make a living is by going from one shift to the next. One medic once told me he had not been home for 11 days. That was after he told me he was trying to leave EMS for nursing. Most of the smaller EMS companies in this area are now gone. Larger companies have taken over the rural areas and even some of the larger cities. This has lead to a demand for medics with techs being told that they need not apply for a job. So two years of schooling (some less, some more) is required to get a job in EMS. And I know of some areas where the EMS guys are getting burnout in about three years. Oh, and did I say the pay is lousy? To medic or not to medic. Canning worked his way through his burnout. And me? I still have my National EMS Registration and am proud of it.

Reading this. As a old rural emt it's fun to know that city life is pretty comperable to rural. Well maybe not hiking into 70 yr old with broken femur who had been out all night after horse accident all alone. He was tougher than we were btw

This is a great book! I have the pleasure of working EMS with peter canning (he's still a medic in the city btw) and a great one at that! Best part about this book is its all true! Great read for all people. If you liked this book I highly suggest his other book!

Excellent writing and real life anecdotes which is good reading for all levels of EMS providers. Well Done Peter!

I brought this book on vacation with me for an easy read. I really enjoyed it. You really feel for the paramedic, get excited with him, frustrated with him, grieve with him. It went by quickly and I would recommend it to anyone in health care.

EMT familymember loved this book.

This book gets your heart beating with drama and excitement. Looks into the emotions of a paramedic as he deals with his patients under some stressful situations. I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with pre-hospital care.

Fun, quick stories. I like his delivery. It's harder than it looks.

Well done Peter. This is the first SharePoint book that made me think that SharePoint might be worth the effort. This book helps with good examples and a methodical approach. Microsoft should be ashamed of themselves with SharePoint; they have taken such a potentially useful platform and given it those that insist complexity is vital to success. When Microsoft get it right, SharePoint will become something for everyone. Peter is guiding us towards this end game where platforms are built easily by people who just want to get things done. Well done again.

Well written, easy to follow. Great for someone new to SharePoint. If you have Office 365 and want to learn to use SharePoint this is a great starting point.

The content is very thorough. For O365, this book is the most recent I've found and includes topics like "modern sites" and "SharePoint Framework". Since O365 is constantly changing, other books i liked at seemed already out of date.

It took a long time to work my way through his book and I carefully studied everything it had n it. My suggestion is to not stop there but keep on reading on the subject diversifying along different authors on the subject. Happy learning!

Don't waste your money. This book is nothing more than a reference with constant redirects to other portion of the book. It just confuses the issue even more. All the information in the book can be obtained online. This book just makes me realize what a piece of crap Sharepoint really is. I am going to Google tools.

There is a lot of information in the book, but not presented in a way that I feel that I know how to get started. Granted, I have NOT seen the video links yet, and that may help, but so far I am not impressed.

A lot (understatement) of good information, but somewhat difficult to follow and implement.

Well written.

The Connecting Leader has completely shifted my way of thinking about the future of my career. This book is for anyone that is an aspiring leader or if you already are in a leadership role, it teaches you how to succeed in our evolving society with fast-moving technology. The author inspires me to ask questions and keep learning. Also, to consider others and have empathy while maintaining focus on the ultimate business goal. He has a great amount of intellect and after reading the thought processes behind the category in which he created of Corporate Intelligence, I truly feel ahead of the game.

The Connecting Leader is not only an extremely well-rounded, informative and inspiring book. It is also daring and thought-provoking, brilliantly challenging accepted best practices and routines in the management of corporate communications and reputational intelligence. Where Corporate Affairs Directors or Chief Comms Officers remain intent on “owning the narrative” (a futile effort in the absence of actual facts in the “New Normal”), Alberto challenges them to listen to their real stakeholders in a truly actionable way. Where most business leaders keep prioritizing tactical, short-term KPIs, he advocates a data-driven focus on true long-term value, and is able to break it down into the specific ingredients of such Connected Intelligence System as a true barometer of an organization’s social contract.Best of all, The Connecting Leader is packed with real-world examples, direct quotes from top business leaders, and valuable hard data. I have known Alberto to be an inspiring leader with the strongest of visions in a field that he has dedicated most of his career to - I now believe he has earned a new merit badge as a superb researcher and communicator.

The Great Recession opened the public's eyes and led to a general distrust of the corporate world which still exists today. With the rise of the digital economy, social media and the forthcoming Fourth Industrial Revolution the corporate landscape is dramatically changing and companies and their leadership need to take stock and be able to embrace these seismic shifts. 'The Connecting Leader' eloquently and purposefully analyses the need to change and how to go about it. Alberto Lopez's book is a must read for any company and leadership team that understands the need to be strategic and nimble in this fast changing world with many useful real life examples. This is a timely and apt study with important insights for the modern business leader

I loved how Alberto engaged his network of leaders in Communications and Corporate Affairs to draw on real-life, tangible use cases from the top businesses in the world. It makes it less of a typical "business book" about ideas and information overload, and more about actionable applications on how the function can actually step up in today's society.

The Connecting Leader brings powerful new insight into the role corporations play with society. The book presents broad new thinking, presents a well-organized framework, and then shows how to practically act. Highly recommended.

The Road to Woodstock, by Michael Lang

Review

“Lang, one of Woodstock’s organizers, provides details about how the production was put together and kept running. His account is interspersed with interviews with performers and others, including, perhaps most interestingly, Hugh Romney, aka Wavy Gravy, of the Hog Farm, whose group provided order, reassurance and, as we know, granola.” (New York Times Book Review, Paperback Row)“At Woodstock I saw a collective adventure representing something that still holds true today. When the Berlin Wall came down, Woodstock was there. When Mandela was liberated, Woodstock was in there. When we celebrated the year 2000, Woodstock was in there. Woodstock is still every day.” (Carlos Santana)“Reading this inimitable account of how Woodstock really came to pass makes the Manhattan Project seem like whippin’ up one of my mom’s custard pies....[This book] he and Holly George-Warren will knock you out and once again make you wish that you were there.” (Terry Stewart, President of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum)“Totally rocking...what elevates this book above the level of most rock memoirs is the inclusion of voices other than Lang’s—including scenesters and key Woodstock players like Jimi Hendrix, Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, Jerry Garcia….Well-written, informative and tons of fun.” (Kirkus Reviews)“Invaluable…[Lang] wraps up his cinematic reminiscing by taking a seminal thread from Woodstock’s history—Jimi Hendrix’s breathtaking interpretation of The Star Spangled Banner—and linking its poignancy to what some have called the 21st century Woodstock moment: the day Barack Obama became the first black president.” (USA Today)“The shelf of books about Woodstock is groaning, but Lang’s is the best fly-on-the-wall account, tantamount to having had a backstage pass to an iconic event.” (New York Post)“There are plenty of juicy tidbits in “The Road to Woodstock,” starting with the compelling opening of Lang sharing his backstage view of Hendrix’s sizzling performance at the rain-soaked end of the festival.” (Richmond Times-Dispatch)

From the Back Cover

The story of the Woodstock Music and Art Fair begins with Michael Lang, a kid out of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, who liked to smoke a joint and listen to jazz. He would find his way to Florida, open a head shop, and produce his first festival—Miami Pop, featuring Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, and others—then travel to Woodstock, where, after meeting Artie Kornfeld, his vision for a festival where folks could come and stay for a few days amid the rural beauty of upstate New York would become a reality. With Artie, new partners John Roberts and Joel Rosenman, and his handpicked crew, Lang booked talent, from Janis Joplin and the Who to the virtually unknown Santana and Crosby, Stills and Nash; won over agents, promoters, and townspeople; took on fleets of volunteers; built a festival site from the ground up; and, in the end, created the landmark cultural event that defined a generation.

Hardcover,283 pages of text-including a short "Where are they now?" section, and a complete set-list of performers at Woodstock. There is also an index and source section, not included in the above page count. There are twenty-four pages of black and white photographs which lend a good, though limited, visual idea of the festival. This is another good book about the three day event in 1969,which centers a lot on Michael Lang, which is fine. His partner,Artie Kornfeld, was crucial in helping distill Lang's ideas into something approaching a workable plan, especially in the beginning, for which he should be remembered. Between the two of them, they arrived at the idea of holding a music festival to pay for a recording studio set-up they envisioned in the Woodstock area,an area where a lot of musicians either "hung out" or lived nearby. The book, written in a combination of first person and historical style, begins with a short overview of Lang's youth in Brooklyn, and continues with his college-age days and beyond in Florida. He talks about his "headshop" and producing the Miami Pop (with five dollar admission) Festival. After moving to Woodstock N.Y.,is when the studio complex/living area idea began to crystallize (no pun intended) in his head. Talking it over with Kornfeld (an A&R man in the music business) they thought people would love the bucolic surroundings and come into the area to live and record. The story is also told through other people involved in the venture and through a number of performers at the event. This is where the "meat" of this book is found. The viewpoints of the many people (Chip Monck,Pete Townshend (among many performers),Wavy Gravy,John Roberts,et al) really tell the story in an immediate,"I was there" way. The story is told chronologically from the very beginning until the three day event came to a close. The small vignettes and viewpoints told by various attendees is what holds this book together and makes it worthwhile. The book's epilogue finishes with information on Lang and post-Woodstock activities. This is a real "insiders" look into how this festival came to fruition, and the narrative moves along at a good pace. With a number of books being published on this, the fortieth anniversary of Woodstock,it's nice to have this book which combines not only Lang's thoughts and views from his perspective, but many others involved as well. The text is clearly written and makes for an entertaining and interesting read,no doubt with the help of writer Holly George-Warren. This book, together with two other recent books (WOODSTOCK REVISITED,Susan Reynolds, editor and BACK TO THE GARDEN by Pete Fornatale) the first of which tells about the three day festival through the eyes of the "average" person who attended or tried to attend, and the second, which combines historical and narrative styles,is a good overview of what went on at the festival (even though the author mistakenly has CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL's Stu Cook on drums and Doug "Cosmo" Clifford on bass) through the experiences of the performers. Together, these will give as much information and insight into the event that most readers will need. The combination of Lang's "nuts and bolts, from the start" build-up,on through the festival, gives a good picture of how this event came to pass. In the end,THE ROAD TO WOODSTOCK will make most readers wish they, too, could have traveled to this pasture land for this once in a lifetime event. If you grew up in the sixties-here's a chance to relive a part of your youth. If you weren't around to remember the times-this book will help you understand it a bit better. This book gives insight into the "sixties" era,and the mind-set of the time-a time and event that will never happen again.

This book provides a magnificent insight into how Woodstock 1969 came about. I found it thoroughly well written, vastly entertaining and entirely engaging.I've read numerous Woodstock books that chronicle the event through the eyes of those who attended the event. However, to read the story behind the scenes of Woodstock, from concept through fruition and beyond, from the point of view of one who was central to production is priceless. This is a story only Michael could tell with anecdotes skillfully interwoven from both production team members and performers, lending insight and clarity to how and why decisions were made. It was a hell of a ride, overcoming monstrous adversity at every turn. Clearly this was the festival destined to be.Additionally, and gratefully, this book includes photos of those providing anecdotes allowing the reader to put faces to names.I almost didn't purchase this book because of some of the negative reviews it received. Let me put it this way; if you want to hear the amazing tale of how Woodstock ultimately became the cultural phenomenon it was, from the man himself, then give it a chance.

Even though I was only ten years old, I remember well all the hype over Woodstock in the news media and the big Life Magazine article. I was far too young to even think about attending Woodstock, but at the time I was fascinated by the concept. It was interesting to find out all the prep it took to get this iconic music festival up and running. A TON of work and worry & financial juggling went into the planning of this event which almost fell apart at the 11th hour due to a needed change of venue. The Zoning issues alone, must have had the organizers pulling their (long) hair out. But WHAT an event it turned out to be for those who attended. And the music!!! and the groups who played there...amazingly talented. I found this book so interesting that as a result, I downloaded the over 2 hour documentary that was made at Woodstock. What a treat it was to hear and see Jimi Hendrix perform and Grace Slick and The Who, and especially Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young in their formative days. They were fantastic, even though I watched and listened to it all on my small screen Kindle. it was worth doing. This book is the perfect backdrop to let you know all that went on with set up, the event itself and even the post Woodstock fall-out. While Middle class, Middle American parents ( like mine) were a little horrified by all the "pot heads" (as they called them) who attended Woodstock...I for one was amazed and a tad bit jealous that I was just too young to be a part of the counter-culture scene. Woodstock was like a window into that "Scene". The book tells the story very well.

First, over 50% of this 321-page book provides information on best places to live for physical and mental disabilities; this was not clearly advertised in the product description (and was of no use to me). Second, all the information appears to be compilations from other sources (Dept. of Labor, independent surveys, etc.) vs. produced by the author and his team. In the past, I always got Places Rated Almanac but it seemed that Best Places had a newer version. However, despite being a 2017 version, a lot of the information in Best Places is 5-10 years old. For me, this purchase was a waste of money - I suggest you get Places Rated Almanac.

It was a quite informative book. Not like Places Rated Almanac , but OK. It lacked certain important items, while putting in too much info on others. I also felt that it was too PC . All in all, a decent starter book, but you could probably get more info from You Tube.

Good book. Would have liked more detailed tax information on each state.

Disappointed...did not have as much information as the one we bought years ago.

I was very disappointed when I received this book. It consists of poorly organized charts which do not give an explanation on how to interpret them. Also, one third of the book is about relocating with a disability. I expected some information on this topic but not this much. Save your money and use the internet to look at basic information on how cities/ states are rated for various basic topics.

Very comprehensive.

a wonderful guide and so much valuable information. worth the money

This kindlebook that is Best Places to Live in America; Facts, Stats, and Tips by David H. Dudley is very helpful regardless if you are determined to reside in one area for the rest of your life, you are still choosing multiple options, andor some other scenario regardless if you are certain of such a decision. This kindlebook is important partially because it is common knowledge and understandable why a person sometimes looks at their job/career situation andor other personal life circumstances before making a decision on how long to live in an area and where to live long term. However, even if you are passionate about how you choose a place to live andor how long you plan to live somewhere, this kindlebook is still good to look at to make the decision based from your own intuition andor logic. There are rankings for; fastest metropolitan growing areas, fastest growing states in America, 10 cities for cities ranked by happiness level, real estate bargains, best affordable places to live, most walkable cities, facts on best performing states, safest states in America, and much more. However, obviously a person is going to have to weigh what is most important to them tempered with their own intuition/logic because it is common knowledge that sometimes a high number of job opportunities make up for how high cost an area is. Additionally, my husband and I personally weigh economic opportunity as a high factor in the length of time and how long when it comes to choose to live in an area, then affordability and then what kind of place it is (suburb, city, country area etc.). However, I have personally been around people where what kind of place an area is comes first, then affordability and opportunity closely ranked. When it comes to economic opportunity I admit to looking at more than just for my age group yet also for in the event that I am still both alive and employed in my 60s/70s regardless of my economic status level (with humble intent because of the age my late adoptive parents were when they passed away). I admit that I was pleasantly surprised to see that the metropolitan Washington DC area made some beneficial rankings in multiple categories even in this kindlebook. I have resided in Hyattsville Maryland since May 19, 2010 and my husband since June 2010 and we both have enjoyed multiple benefits to residing in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area. Additionally, this kindlebook has fascinating rankingw both involving best states to make a living, rankings of affordability activities quality of life health care, and more. The only caveats that I notice is that a significant portion of this kindlebook while informative/helpful was geared more towards caretakers either of an older parent andor one’s child (though a perfect kindlebook if you are in these groups) and the authors viewpoint on mainstream media articles. While the author at least explained why they feel this way, my awareness is that like any profession you have your good andor professional/fair writers and then you have writers that are equally talented yet you know to have both eyes wide open when browsing such articles. Aside from those caveats, this kindlebook has a decent amount of information for the bargain price that I paid for this kindlebook.
