More topographical than I was expecting. I was looking more for traditional maps where cities can easily be seen. Don't need to see such detail of mountain ranges
My son loves maps and this is his new favorite. Better detail than most atlases I have seen lately. Also it seems to have less mistakes -- and it gets a pretty careful review.

I bought it as a birthday present for my son to replace his old outdated Atlas. We still enjoy using paper maps sometimes rather than relying on the internet. It's beautiful and useful but oh so heavy!
It is a must with ever changing world. Extremely detailed and well organized.
