Just received this 3rd edition map book today in the mail. Open the package and I was shocked. All I got to say is WOW!!! I want to say Thank You to TheBookler and Co. for selling me this vintage Atlas. I have 2 of them but they're missing pages and its all in bad condition. But this book I got today....OMG!!! Whether some will say its used, this came to me in PERFECT "used" condition. Nothing missing, everything is there...Heck, the pages look fresh!!! I love it. The book to me looks brand new...

i gave the street map of Western Mass to my husband for Christmas and he was so pleased as we have been trying to buy one for some time. he was shocked at the price but i said if it is difficult to buy it is a "hot" item. we will take it with us on our "back roading" summers!

It's been easy to find unfamiliar streets since I've received it-It's well laid out, the type is large enough to read, and the maps are very good.Thanks, American Map for a top quality street atlas!And thanks to the seller who sent this great condition book to me in a very timely fashion-I will buy from them again!

I've just recently moved up to the northeast and this map has been invaluable to getting around. the spiral bound spine makes it easy to use in the car.

This atlas is in excellent condition for being used. It is easy to read with larger maps. It is much more up to date, with all the new streets everywhere, than my 10 year old one.

Eli Maor is a master story teller. His books allow both the expert and all those interested in the subject to quickly become immersed. He just does not bring forth a subject, he tells us the history and the personalities of the people who so influenced music in a artistic and scientific sense.I await his books and always read them at a sitting and then go back over and over again gleaning more at each read. Thank you Doctor Maori for making your reader's lives richer by far.Mike Sterling

Very interesting and entertaining book. A surprising and little masterpiece.

The first two-thirds of the book are insightful and interesting. There is a logical development and the only point with which I would take issue is his apparent advocacy of equal temperament and his assertion that Bach's Das Wohltemperierte Klavier is evidence of Bach's advocacy as well. However, the last part of this rather short book comes across as padding. He describes Schoenberg's approach to composition well, but leaves the reader in little doubt about his own distaste. Beyond that there are very superficial and questionably relevant (and occasionally questionably accurate) detours into physics. The frequency of first person singular pronouns rises steeply. I was left wishing that this short book had actually been even shorter. Because of this, four stars, but only just.

This was a gift but I am told it is very good.

this was a birthday gift for my brother, a sound engineer, he's been reading it at his summer job and loves it!
